Rhapsody in Grey

Featuring:
Loft top, Gap skirt, Target tights, Asos flats

I'm in a really weird mood today and I'm not quite sure why. The morning started off normal enough, but then I went into a downward spiral of moody. So, I'm going to whine for three sentences and then stop. Because anything longer than that is unnecessary and lame.

In the past, I've been able to juggle 3-4 obligations at once, so I never thought grad school and a "real life" job would get overwhelming. Today, I realized it is. I am exhausted, unmotivated, angst-y, disappointed, and uninspired.

Okay, done.

As my good friends always say: "It's fine, it's totally fine. Everything will be fiiine."
They're right.

I love the monochromatic look! And I second Amy's comment about the beer, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made it this far in grad school without it.

I'll tell you what your problem is.... grad school! seriously. grad school brings out the worst in me. and by worst I mean procrastinating like crazy. and being a bitch (although maybe i was already a bitch to begin with). I recommend getting a I DESERVE drink tonight. or NOW. :)

AmyW's comment made me giggle. I am so with you. Yesterday I was a grump. I think it has to do with my $.50 cost of living raise versus my co-worker's almost $2 one. I guess they expect me to live cheaper. Actually, I think hers included her step raise. See, we don't get merit raises. It's all levels and steps and corporate hullabaloo. Otherwise, mine should have been better because I had my best review ever and she said hers was not good. Wha?

Anyway, kudos to you for juggling grad school and working. And, a blog! I keep wanting to go to grad school but I don't know what I want to do when I grow up (say the almost 40 year old).

Yadda, yadda. I mean making a super busy person read this essay.

Silly me, I didn't comment on your outfit. At first I thought it was a tunic. That top is tricky because it looks like two. Love the Loft!
